Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) 100% Pure Essential Oil 10ml   Aroma 10ml Frankincense is a woody, spicy fragrance, with a hint of lemon. It is often described as having a ‘haunting’ aroma, perhaps partly referring to its historical significance during religious and spiritual ceremonies. Affects: Frankincense is a calming oil, useful for people with anxious and obsessional dispositions. The oil is also renowned for rejuvenating mature skin properties, reputedly smoothing out wrinkles and helping with the appearance of age spots and crows feet. The oil is slightly astringent which is also good for balancing oily skin. This astringent nature of frankincense is also good for clearing mucus in the lungs and therefore is particularly useful for enhancing lung function. Application of diluted oils in facial skin or whole body massage: up to 15 ml of base oil (for example: coconut oil, sweet almond, etc.), add 4-6 drops of essential oils. If the oil prepared in this way is rubbed into large areas of the skin - then it penetrates the blood and causes general action. Oil baths: Add 10 drops of oil or oil mix to the bath of water. The water should have a temperature of 40-45⁰C. The bath should last 20-30 minutes. This bath stimulates blood circulation in peripheral vessels, has a calming effect, reduces rheumatic and muscular pains, removes fatigue and insomnia. We recommend here oils: pine, fir, eucalyptus. Inhalation: for this purpose, the oils are inhaled along with water vapor, for example fireplaces for water, in which, with the help of a candle, a reservoir filled with water with 15 drops of oil is heated. Water vapour on the face (to clean the pores): use a wide dish with boiling water to which we take 7-15 drops of essential oil.
